Itinerary:
Day I: Arrival in San Jose and transfer to your hotel.
Day II: Departure early in the morning for the National Park of Tortuguero, drive through the Braulio Carrillo National Park, real jungle of Costa Rica. On the way we will serve you a typical breakfast. Then you will take our boat and cross the famous canals bordered of tropical vegetation to your ecolodge. After your lunch the lodge organize an excursion in the little village of Tortuguero.Day III: After your breakfast the naturalist guide will takes you along the canals. This is an impressive variety of fauna and flora who make this place unforgettable. Return to your lodge for a lunch. You can enjoy your afternoon walking around or take an optional tour directly with the lodge. Depending the season the turtle nesting by night is available.
Day IV: Transfer from Tortuguero to Arenal – La Fortuna and arrival to your hotel bungalow with volcano view. This little structure only 4 bungalows in the middle of nature. It is one of the best discoveries of Destination Adventures. You will love it.
Day V: After your breakfast, our guide comes to pick you up for the activity of your choice: hanging bridges in the rainforest, this is a really beautiful experience above the canopy who permit you to observe the rainforest from above or the zip-lines,
canopy tour for pure adrenaline and fun.
In the afternoon, you will enjoy the volcano tour, walk inside the rainforest with our guide, observe the flowing lava by night, relax yourself the hot springs of Baldi (21 swimming pools, jacuzzi & water slide in the middle of a tropical garden. Buffet dinner included. Back at your hotel around 10 pm.
Day VI: Transfer from Arenal to Tamarindo Beach and arrival at your Hotel La Palapa, right in front of the beach. This small structure (witch is actually our neighbor) offers an incredible palm garden, one of the most pretty view of the Tamarindo sunset. All rooms are full equipped and offer a little private terrace.
Day VII: You choose your activity: Catamaran & sunset cruise, zip-lines and horseback riding at Shell Beach, ATV & snorkeling or morning snorkeling by boat. Please consult inside the website for more information about these activities.
Day VIII: Back to San Jose in the afternoon for your last night.
Day IX: After breakfast, transfer to the Airport.
Included: All transfer you need, entrance fees, all activity descried, bilingual guides, breakfast in all hotels, all meals in Tortuguero (breakfast, lunch & Dinner), dinner the day V at Baldi
Does not included: The tax of $26 you will pay at the Airport the day of your departure, alcoholic beverages, personal insurance coverage (recommended).
